1. Are all of Veronica’s Products Low Fat, Gluten Free & Vegetarian?
Yes, all of our Snacks here at Veronica’s are Low Fat, 100% Gluten Free, and Vegetarian. We want to make sure EVERYONE out there can eat and experience our snacks, and have permission to munch! Not only are they a 100% Gluten Free and Vegetarian. They have 60% less fat than other crisps because they are baked not fried. This means they are a great option for kiddies…and, well everyone really!
2. Crisp’s? How can these be Healthy!!!!
When Veronica first came up with the concept of these yummy snacks, she was thinking of her kid’s and making snacks healthier for them to eat, She wanted Low Fat, but very tasty snacks. Veronica has made sure, at every stage in the process, that these snacks are so good she would give them to her kid’s. They are baked- not fried, they have very little salt (.03grms), Very little fat (only 2.8grms)….and tonnes of yummy flavour!!

4. Gluten Free? What does this mean?
Gluten is a sticky protein found in grains like wheat, barley and rye. It gives bread its elasticity and satisfying, chewy texture – just think of a delicious French baguette. Strangely, this gooey protein is used in a lot of unexpected products. It’s used as an anti-clumping agent in spices, as a binder in cosmetics and traces of gluten, due to cross contamination, can be found in just about anything else you can imagine.
Because it’s in everything, those who suffer from Coeliac Disease or Non-Coeliac Gluten Intolerance, have a hard time finding foods they can eat since they are unable to digest gluten. While most may have no problem consuming foods with gluten, others experience severe brain fog, digestive discomfort, depression and many other sickly symptoms. That’s what makes the “gluten-free” label so helpful. It offers freedom to those with dietary limitations.
5. Are Veronica’s Snacks made in accordance with the new Gluten Free regulations that were implemented in January 2012?
In Short Yes!! Veronica’s Snacks are completely a 100% Gluten Free. Since January 2012 this label can only be applied to food which has 20 parts per million (ppm) or less of gluten. We are safe to eat for anyone who suffers from Coeliac Disease….and everyone else too!!
